Finishing Touches

Glazing

There is a range of glazing options and a selection of patterns and finishes.

If you're looking to add character and individuality, our decorative glass options provide you with literally hundreds of designs and styles to choose from, for all areas of your home.

Through catching the suns rays, decorative glass adds jewel-like colour to your home.

There are many types of glazing each suitable to your home and for different situations there are different glazing effects available.

Patterned / Obscure (Privacy) Glass
Patterned glass offers various levels of obscurity for those more private rooms. By using this type of glazing your privacy is respected.

Decorative Glass
The entrance to our home is a focal point and is an ideal opportunity to reflect personal style and taste. It creates a first impression. This is where our designer range can help. It is Art glass. (Patterned backing glass creates degrees of privacy as required).

Overlay: a simulation of original stained glass techniques where the designs are created by applying high quality UV stable film materials to the glass surface and finishing-off with fine authentic lead lines. The addition of bevelled glass shapes in some designs adds a 3-dimensional quality and it is possible to change lead colours in the design including brass effect.

Resin: a lead free decorative option, very weather resistant and cost effective, where the resin creates the outline and the colours are hand applied. Usually a metallic Pewter outline but other options such as brass, copper, and black are available.

Fusion: a contemporary look where individual pieces of kiln fused glass are bonded to the external face of a traditionally (sandblast) etched glass surface (patterned backing glass not required) and is ideal for matching with coloured doors.

Brass / Zinc: created by using traditional cut glass and genuine brass or zinc caming – traditional manufacturing techniques and modern materials – to create stunning designs. All designs are only available as triple glazed units where the decorative element is encapsulated inside an insulated glass unit. Practical benefits include easy clean and maintenance free.

Leadwork Glass
Leadwork glass is carefully handcrafted and available in different shapes and sizes. Each window is made to match to ensure a constant flow of design around the house setting it apart from all the others.

Bevelled Glass
Bevelled Designs are individually hand crafted using slim lined bevelled glass. They can be used to their best effect in personalising your home from another through adding a unique flair and design to your windows and doors.

Decorative Panels
Decorative Panels/"Top Lights" are handcrafted using the modern equivalent of traditional stained glass. With this type of glazing each window or door is free to be as extravagant or as simple as you like.

Internal Georgian Bars
Internal Georgian Bars are internally fitted bars available in various shapes and sizes to add a sleek and modern look to your property.
