CMS BS EN ISO 9001:2000

CMS has achieved BS EN ISO 9001:2000 an international standard that specifies the requirements of a quality management system. CMS is BSI accredited to this standard.

At CMS our commitment to quality is total; our attainment of ISO 9001 is further proof of this. The quality of our products benefits from the systems and procedures put in place to maintain the standard. We are audited and product tested by BSI twice a year and, as a BSI registered firm, CMS has an obligation to achieve customer satisfaction at all stages from sales through to service.

CMS BS 7412 Window System

CMS has achieved BS 7412; the British Standard for the manufacture of PVC-U windows covering construction, security, safety, air permeability, watertightness, operation, and strength.

CMS BS 7950 Security on Windows

CMS has achieved BS 7950; the British Standard for the manufacture of windows with enhanced security performance. This standard specifies the pre-requisite compliance to BS 7412. BS 7950 tests include a mechanical locking point strength test using hydraulic rams to replicate a forced entry and a manual intervention test using various burglary tools. The windows must successfully resist these sustained attacks for a minimum period of 3 minutes.

BS EN 1279 Glass Units

CMS manufactures and supplies insulating glass units to BS EN 1279; the British Standard for the manufacture of sealed double-glazed units. The standard specifies the performance requirements and the test methods that must be complied with and provides an assurance that the units manufactured will offer an excellent standard of quality and performance.

CMS FENSA

PVC-U windows have always been energy efficient and the new building regulations now specify minimum standards of energy efficiency that window, door, and conservatories fitted in the UK must meet.

To ensure that replacement windows meet these new standards, the Glass and Glazing Federation (GGF) and other industry bodies have established FENSA - the Fenestration Self-Assessment scheme. As members of the FENSA scheme CMS will provide a certificate confirming that the windows CMS supply and fit comply with the new regulations.

 Construction Line is the UK register of prequalified local and national construction related suppliers, contractors, and consultants. CMS is a registered Construction Line company and such recognition is further evidence of our commitment to our commercial partners.

PAS 23 Door Assemblies & PAS 24 Security on Doors

CMS residential doors are manufactured to the PAS 23 & PAS 24 standards.
